The ZPL180Y bottom discharge valve is mainly used for bottom discharge in reactors,storage tanks,and other containers.Installed on the tank bottom flange,the valveeliminates the residual phenomenon of process media that usually occurs at thecontainer outlet.As a special type of shut-off valve,it is primarily applied to thebottom of various storage containers.Its smooth and streamlined valve body flowchannel design,combined with the spherical single-seat valve plug type,facilitatesmedium flow,making it widely used in industries such as polymerization reactions,chemical fiber,foodand fermentation.It is also an ideal choice for occasions involvingslurries and high-density fluids.When selecting valves of this series,factors such as thetemperature,pressure,adhesiveness,and corrosiveness of the medium in the storagecontainer must be considered to maximize adaptability to different working conditions.
Classification of Bottom Discharge Valves:
● Metal rising-stem discharge valve:ZPL180Y(resistance-resistant,erosion-resistant,crystallization-resistantanti-clogging)
● Metal lowering-stem discharge valve:ZPL170Y(resistance-resistant)

According to different working conditions, we designed two opening modes of tank bottom discharge valves:
1. ZPL170Y Bottom Entering (Disc-Lowering Type) Discharge Valve(Disc-Open-Into-Valve Body) features a valve disc that operates within the valve body, requiring it to overcome the force of the medium when closed. The closing force surpasses the opening force, making this valve suitable for reactors with non-crystallizing media.
2. ZPL180Y Top Entering (Disc-Rising Type) Discharge Valve (Disc-Open-Into-Vessel)is designed with a tapered valve disc that moves outside the valve body and towards into the inner of reactor. When opened, it needs to counteract the force exerted by the medium. The opening force exceeds the closing force, making this up-open valve use for reactors equipped with stirrers and prone to crystallization.
The Features & Advantages:
1. The tank bottom discharge valve is compatible with various media, and for corrosive substances,select the ZPL180F lined valve to meet the requirements of strong corrosion applications.
2. A bottom guide is employed to prevent material stack and crystallization, while also reducing the stroke length of the valve stem to prevent deformation of the valve shaft.
3. The Outlet and container are positioned at a 45°-degree angle with a curved transition,can makes facilitating smoother material discharge.
4. Utilized a multi-spring diaphragm cylinder,to reduce size and weight of cylinder at the bottom of the container,.By adjusting wire range and spring length, output force can be increased or decreased to meet different specifications requirements.
5. The air-cylinder allows for single-acting or double-acting functions by adding or removing springs respectively.Furthermore, changing spring installation direction enables positive or negative actions for disc-rising or disc-lowering.
6. An external PT100 explosion-proof temperature sensor can be added for online temperature monitoring as well as 4-20mA remote monitoring in control room to regulate material temperature within containers. effectively solving the safety concerns during material reactions.
